Good personal impressions from Michael Shanks for Hawkman character makes me eager to see how real the scenes LOOK. I have had no doubt about Michael Shanks making a superhero icon act real, heart and soul, but I have wondered how the choreography holds water; could Hawkman believably function with the integrity of a larger-than-life figure as he appears with huge flying wings, an illogical helmet, etc. Will the character come off as a costume looking fakey, or historically & physically workable, and still carry magic enhancement of a beloved, long-idolized warrior hero? Two days and counting…go Hawkman, go JSA…go Superman!
